At a friends wedding the other day, I learned a new phrase 'Shoggoling'...it's when you 'oggle' another woman's shoes! I can tell you a lot of that was going on at that particular wedding. When my next pink expert Liz Kortaska said wonders what it's like to be in someone else's shoes, I don't think she meant the same thing! She has a wonderful talent though, read on to hear more...
1. What talent do you naturally have that makes you successful?
Ever since I can remember, I have wondered what it’s like to be in someone else’s shoes. Don’t get me wrong, I like being me, but I do have this natural curiosity about what makes other people tick, why they make the decisions they do, the way they see their world and how they think and feel about it.
But even stronger is the desire to make a difference where it’s wanted and to create harmony where there is discord between what we really want for ourselves and what it is within us that gets in the way.
2. When did you first realise that talent was going to help you and how do you use it?
I haven’t been paid to say this (really!) but it’s only since reading Pink Expertise that I have really thought about these natural talents and noticed how they are pivotal in my approach to my clients and the progress they make.
Through my work in Advanced Hypnotherapy, Thought Field Therapy and Changework, I can both satisfy that natural curiosity and make a real difference for my clients and how they feel about themselves.
