My next pink expert literally speaks from the heart, her talent with people and her talent to put her heart and soul into her business have got her huge recognition and a fabulous business that spans the world over - what an amazing way to live. Read on to hear more;
1. What talent do you have naturally that makes you successful
As far as I am concerned I have never seen talent in terms of IQ or skills. I have always felt that talent comes from the heart. Talented people show their talent by feeling very passionate about what they do and passion is what is required as with all things success comes from practice and hard work.
I have always worked hard, all my life, at school, at work, in my marriage with my children and with the friends I love.. I take nothing for granted as I control nothing. At school I could not control what exam questions I would get, at work I could not control market conditions, in my marriage I do not own the right to be loved and as a mother I am leading them, not controlling them. My friends care for me because I care for them. Nothing in life is a given. I think that is my talent, I have tremendous respect for others and want people to fulfill themselves. I believe everyone has a song and the thing that holds them back is their self belief or their ability to communicate it. Love, nurture and the right leadership creates the environment for people to sing their song. I guess I am a mother and a nurturer in all that I do and hope that the talent I have for that moves people into action that enriched their life and helps them to achieve their dreams.
2. When did you first realise that talent was going help you and how do you use it
When I was eleven years old I discovered my heart. A boy moved next door to our house and he had cerebral palsy. I loved Toby he meant the world to me and he showed me the depth of love and the ability to communicate at a level that many miss. I learned that I had an ability to be with people and give them attention who ever they were. I cherish people, I have great empathy with people, I judge no one and that has been an important part of my existence. Recently I have been exposed to the world of the Blind, I am so humbled by their ability to intensify their senses and see without seeing. I can sense now, at 45 that these emotions I hold have allowed me to have a great marriage, three wonderful children and a business that contributes with a heartbeat. I am very grateful to Toby, he changed my life.
