Making your mind up!

When I read my next pink expert's answers to my 2 little questions, it became apparent that she's multi-talented! When I read her answers though, it seemed that her success was down to taking action and making an on-the-spot decision – knowing and trusting that she could make it work. 1. What talent do you naturally have that makes you successful?

Gosh, that's a difficult question to answer - it's certainly something I've not thought about before!  For me it's putting together the skills that almost everyone has - it's not what you've got, it's the way that you use it. So here goes....an ability to organise and make decisions quickly, passion and enthusiasm, grasping opportunities and responding to change, attention to detail and of course, hard work and determination.

2. When did you first realise that talent was going to help you and how do you use it?

The inspiration to create Cluttergone was one of those true 'light bulb' moments in life. On holiday on a Mediterranean cruise and I became friendly with the other guests over dining table. One evening I asked my new friend from New York about her working life. 'I'm a professional declutterer and organiser' she replied. 'Do you make a living out of it?' I questioned. 'Oh yes' was the response. The light bulb lit up! I COULD DO THAT! On return to the UK, I research the market, found a gap and a new business was launched within three months.
