A natural networker

I gave a speech the other day at the opening of a brand new business networking circle in my area on networking. I gave out my top tips for being able to network effectively but also gave my audience a glimpse into the terror I used to feel walking into a room full of strangers! 1. What talent do you naturally have that makes you successful?

A natural net worker, I like to think my USP is my ability to make people feel special about their own talent whether it be personal or professional, I then make the effort to put that person in front of the people they need to impress! And it seems to work: with over 15 years in the world of lifestyle PR at Buzz Public Relations and as a celebrity beauty journalist, I haven’t stopped networking yet!

2. When did you first realise that talent was going to help you and how do you use it?

When did I first notice I had a talent? At school I suppose, used to be able to charm myself round most people, so I never got a detention for handing my homework in late and it was my job to make everyone mix at parties.
