Inventing something more effective

When I first saw Samantha Fountain on Dragons Den, I knew she'd do well. Samantha is responsible for inventing the Shewee and if you haven't heard of it before, do click on her name and see for yourself. Samantha simply invested something more effective for us girls, she's definitely an ambassador for Pink Expertise in my view, this is what she says;

1. What talent do you naturally have that makes you successful?

I don't feel like it's a talent, but I suppose it's something that not everyone else has....so perhaps it is a talent! I am an entrepreneur. The most obvious fruit of my talent is the Shewee - the product I have designed and taken to market. The portable urinating device for women. However, since designing the one product and building my business to market and sell that product I don't design new things everyday, but I do use the same skills to run my company in the best/most efficient way possible. Constantly thinking of more efficient processes and better ways to work.

2. When did you first realise you had that talent and how do you use it every day?

I first realised I had the talent when I won (with the Shewee) the Dyson New Designers Competition 1999. I now run a multinational business, employing about 8 people to manufacture, market and sell Shewee.
