My next pink expert, Christine Lock, has always been a very energetic person and she's put it to brilliant use all throughout her career, she says it's what's driven her company to achieve the success it's had. Here she is to fill you in on the rest;
1) What talent do you naturally have that makes you successful?
I think of myself as a very energetic person. Right from the day I started my first job in London buying media space, I've always been ambitious in business and determined to succeed in whatever I do. I guess that's led me to be successful in a sales environment. I really do believe that if you want to achieve something that you really can do it. So whatever I do, I'm tenacious and always give 100% effort and commitment.
Business wise, that's helped me - and CPW Computing - to succeed. But I've also applied that drive and determination in all other areas fo my life.
2) When did you first realise that talent was going to help you, and how to you use it?
Whilst I'm the MD of a successful IT business, I also believe each of us - who have the opportunity - should try to share our talents to benefit the wider society. So, wherever I've been, I've tried to do just that. It's led to becoming passionate about the environment - and everything I can do to ensure that redundant IT equipment gets a second life or at the very least is recycled.
It's meant that as a business, we do what we can to support disadvantaged people, helping them reach their potential too. I believe we can all make a difference in life.
